| There has been some confusion in the past on how to connect
to the Griffin Gaming servers in each game. So, we'll do our best to make
this easy for you.
Left 4 Dead
Griffin Gaming supports two means of connecting to our Left4Dead servers.
We recommend using the ingame server browser to locate one of our games,
so you will have the ability to personalize yuor game session. However,
direct connect is possible, using these steps.
1) Open Left 4 Dead. On the main menu, hit the tilde (~) key. This should
bring up the console.
2) Type the word "connect" followed by a space and the address
of the server (including port number) to which you wish to connect. Hit
enter.
3) Dish out some zombie ownage.
Garry's Mod
There are two ways of connecting to the servers for Garry's Mod. We recommend
using the ingame browser to connect to a server with Griffin Gaming in
the title. Alternatively, you can directly connect using one of the addresses
in the Games list. For this, you must...
1) Open Garry's Mod. On the main menu, hit the tilde (~) key. This should
bring up the console.
2) Type the word "connect" followed by a space and the address
of the server (including port number) to which you wish to connect. Hit
enter.
3) Build lots of stuff.
Unreal Tournament 3, 2004, 2003
Like Garry's Mod, you can connect via the ingame server browser (recommended)
or you can manually connect to each server via an address listed on our
Games list. To manually connect, you must...
1) Open Unreal Tournament. On the main menu, hit F10 (alternatively, try
Tab or ~), which should bring up the console.
2) type the word "join" followed by a space and the address
(including port number!) of the server to which you wish to connect. Hit
enter.
3) Kill stuffs. Quickly.
If you have any further difficulties, please refer to the game publisher's
included manual or available instructions via their official website. |
